Rick Tadra

My Story

Hi, I'm Rick Tadra. I am a commercial, print, and narrative film actor with over 35 years of continuous experience anchoring prominent regional and national campaigns. As a performer, I specialize in characters defined by commanding grit, deep intellect, and grounded authority—from a steadfast small-town Sheriff to the analytical mind of a frontier Doctor. Alongside my dramatic work, I regularly bring this authoritative presence to situational and dry comedic roles across films and national commercial campaigns.

My foundation on set is uniquely shaped by two distinct lives of elite discipline. Alongside my decades in the entertainment industry, I spent over 25 years working as a Software Engineer. Now retired from the tech sector, I bring that same sharp analytical precision to the screen—portraying high-intellect professionals, corporate leaders, and technical experts with authentic gravity and complex dialogue fluency. My physical discipline is equally rigorous. Before transitioning to the screen full-time, I played NCAA Division I college basketball and competed across the United States as a National Country Western and Swing dance competitor, alongside advanced training in Argentine Tango. Along with dance, I'm an avid golfer who can usually be found perfecting his chipping a and putting at his local home course.
